If you are driving, head towards Nara Prefecture using the Kinki Expressway (also known as the Hanshin Expressway). Take the Sakurai IC exit and follow the signs towards Sakurai city. Once you are in Sakurai, look for Route 168 and follow it towards Hase. Hasedera Temple is located at 731-1 Hase, Sakurai, Nara 633-0112. There is parking available near the temple, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

To reach Hasedera Temple by train, take the Kintetsu Osaka Line from Osaka or Nara Station. Get off at Hase Station. From Hase Station, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to Hasedera Temple. Follow the signs towards the temple, and you will pass through a picturesque local area. The train fare from Osaka to Hase Station is approximately ¥800, while from Nara it is about ¥500.

Alternatively, if you're in the Nara area, you can take a bus from Nara Station to Hasedera. Look for the bus that goes to Hase Station. The bus ride takes around 30-40 minutes and costs approximately ¥600. Once at Hase Station, it's a short walk to the temple.
