Getting There

    From Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway route 13 towards Nara. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Nara, follow signs for Nara Park and Kofuku-ji. You can find parking near Nara Park, but be aware that parking may incur fees ranging from 300 to 800 yen per hour. After parking, it will be a short 10-minute walk to Kofuku-ji Nan-endo located at 48 Noboriojicho.

  • Train

    From Osaka Station, take the JR Yamatoji Line (rapid service) towards Nara Station. The train ride takes about 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Nara Station, take the East Exit and follow the signs for Kofuku-ji. It is a 15-minute walk from the station. You will walk through Nara Park, and you will see Kofuku-ji on your right. This train journey will cost you approximately 720 yen.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. The bus service from Kintetsu Nara Station to Kofuku-ji is available, and you can catch a local bus that goes to Nara Park. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes and costs around 230 yen. After getting off, Kofuku-ji Nan-endo is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
