    If you are traveling by car, start on the main road (National Route 42) towards Koyasan. Follow signs for Koyasan, and as you approach the town, look for signs directing you to the Fukuchi-in Temple. The temple is located at 657 Koyasan, Koya, Ito District, Wakayama 648-0211. There is parking available at the temple. Please note that some GPS systems may not provide accurate directions, so it's advisable to have a physical map or use a reliable mapping app.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Fukuchi-in Temple using public transportation, take the Nankai Koya Line from Namba Station in Osaka to Koyasan Station. The train ride takes approximately 90 minutes. Upon arriving at Koyasan Station, exit the station and find the bus stop outside. Board the bus heading to 'Fukuchi-in' or 'Okunoin'. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. You will need to pay a fare of roughly 500 yen for the bus. Get off at the stop for Fukuchi-in, which is the fifth stop from Koyasan Station. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the temple entrance.
