    If you are driving, take the Kinki Expressway (Kansai Expressway) from Osaka or Kobe and head towards Wakayama. Exit at the Koyasan IC and follow the signs for Koyasan. The drive takes about 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Koyasan, follow the signs to Kongobu-ji Danjo Garan, which is located at 152 Koyasan, Koya, Ito District, Wakayama 648-0211. There is parking available near the temple, but be aware that it may be limited during peak tourist seasons.

  • Train and Cable Car

    To reach Kongobu-ji Danjo Garan by public transportation, first take the Nankai Koya Line from Namba Station in Osaka to Koyasan Station. This journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Koyasan Station, transfer to the Koyasan Cable Car (Koyasan Tozankyo) which will take you up to the Koyasan area.
