    If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the city of Minoh in Osaka Prefecture. From central Kyoto, take the Route 1 highway towards Osaka. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto the Route 171 highway towards Minoh. Continue on Route 171 for about 15 kilometers until you reach Minoh. Look for signs directing you to Katsuoji Temple. There is a parking area available near the temple, which may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

    To reach Katsuoji using public transportation, begin your journey at Kyoto Station. Take the Hankyu Kyoto Line towards Osaka, transferring at Katsunuma Station.
