Car
If you're driving from central Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway towards Osaka. Once you reach the Suita Junction, transition to the Chuo Expressway and follow signs for Minoh. Exit at the Minoh Interchange and follow Route 171 towards the city center. Continue on Route 171 until you see signs for Ryuan-ji. The temple is located at 2-23 Minookoen, Minoh, Osaka 562-0002, which is about a 30-minute drive from central Kyoto. Parking is available near the temple, but be prepared for a small fee, usually around 500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Ryuan-ji via public transportation, start by taking the Hankyu Kyoto Line from Kawaramachi Station in Kyoto. Board a train heading towards Takarazuka and get off at Minoh Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Minoh Station, exit the station and walk towards the Minoh Park entrance. Follow the signs leading to Ryuan-ji, which is about a 15-20 minute walk through the scenic Minoh Park. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may have some inclines. The temple is open from 10 AM to 4 PM, so plan your visit accordingly.
