Car
From Kyoto city center, take the Kyoto Jukan Expressway (Kyoto Outer Ring Road) and head south. Follow the signs for Nantan, and take exit 10 toward Nantan. Continue on Route 477 for about 15 kilometers. When you reach the Miyama area, look for signs directing you to Miyama Town Nature and Culture Village Camping Ground. The address is 〒601-0713 Kyoto, Nantan, Miyamachonaka, 下向56. You will find the camping ground on your left side.

Public Transportation
Start at Kyoto Station and take the JR Sanin Line train towards Sonobe. Get off at Nantan Station (南丹駅), which takes about 50 minutes. Once at Nantan Station, exit the station and find the bus stop for the Miyama area. Take the local bus that heads towards Miyama Town and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Miyama Town Nature and Culture Village Camping Ground. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The camping ground is located at 〒601-0713 Kyoto, Nantan, Miyamachonaka, 下向56.
