Car
If you are driving from central Kyoto, take the JR Kyoto Line from Kyoto Station to Tofukuji Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Tofukuji Station, transfer to the Eizan Electric Railway at Demachiyanagi Station. Take the Eizan Line to Kurama Station (about 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Kurama Station, follow the signs to Kifune-jinja Shrine, which is about a 30-minute walk along the scenic path. Note that parking is available near the shrine, but fees may apply.

Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station (approximately 10 minutes). Then, transfer to the Eizan Electric Railway at Demachiyanagi Station. Board the Eizan Line train towards Kurama and get off at Kurama Station (about 30 minutes). At Kurama Station, exit and follow the pathway signs directing you to Kifune-jinja Shrine, which is roughly a 30-minute walk from the station. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path has some elevation.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from central Kyoto. The ride to Kifune-jinja Shrine will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
