Car
If you're traveling by car, navigate towards Ninna-ji located at 33 Omuroouchi, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto. From the center of Kyoto, take the Ryoan-ji and Omuro Ninnaji exit off the Kyoto City Loop Road. Follow the signs for Ninna-ji, which will lead you through local streets. Parking is available near the temple, but it can get crowded during peak tourist seasons. Expect to pay approximately 500 yen for parking.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Ninna-ji via public transportation, take the Kyoto city bus number 26 or 59 from Kyoto Station. Both buses have stops at Ninna-ji (Ninna-ji Mae stop). The ride takes about 30 minutes, and the fare is around 230 yen. After getting off the bus, it’s just a short walk to the temple entrance.

Public Transportation - Train
Alternatively, you can take the JR Sanin Line from Kyoto Station to the Enmachi Station. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Enmachi Station, exit and walk for about 15 minutes towards the northwest to reach Ninna-ji. Make sure to check the train schedules ahead of time, as they can vary. The train fare is around 210 yen.
