Ryoanji Butsuden (Buddha Hall) is just a short walk from the parking area.

If you're using public transportation, begin at Kyoto Station. Take the JR San-In Line towards Hamaotsu and get off at the Ryoanji Station (approximately a 30-minute ride). From Ryoanji Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Ryoanji Butsuden. Directions: Head northwest on the main road, and look for signs directing you to Ryoanji Temple. The path will lead you directly to the Buddha Hall.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Kyoto Station. Board the Kyoto City Bus number 26 or 50, heading towards Ryoanji. The bus ride is approximately 40 minutes, and you should get off at the Ryoanji-mae bus stop. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk to Ryoanji Butsuden. Remember to have exact change for the bus fare, which is usually around 230 yen.
