For those using public transportation, begin your journey at any local train station in the Kyoto countryside. Board a JR train on the JR Kyoto Line heading towards Osaka Station. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, transfer to the JR Loop Line (Osaka Loop Line) and take the train in the direction of Osaka Castle. Get off at Osakajokoen Station, which is the closest station to Osaka Castle. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Osaka Castle Park Office. Note that the total train fare is approximately ¥600-¥800.

If you prefer to take a bus, start by heading to one of the major bus terminals in the Kyoto countryside. Use the highway bus service that connects Kyoto to Osaka. Get off at the Osaka Namba Station. From Namba, take the Osaka Metro (Subway) to Tanimachi 4-chome Station. Here, you can transfer to the Chuo Line and get off at Osakajokoen Station. The Osaka Castle Park Office is about a 10-minute walk from the station. The bus fare is usually around ¥1000-¥1200.
