Subway
If you are starting from Namba Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line (Red Line) towards Esaka. After 5 stops, get off at Shinsaibashi Station. Transfer to the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line (Light Blue Line) and travel towards Tsurumi-ryokuchi, getting off at Tanimachi 4-chome Station (3 stops). From Tanimachi 4-chome Station, take Exit 1, and walk straight for about 10 minutes towards Osaka Castle. The castle will be visible in the distance.

From Osaka Station, take the JR Loop Line (Green Line) towards Tennoji. After 2 stops, get off at Osakajokoen Station. Leave the station and walk 15 minutes towards Osaka Castle. Follow the signs to the castle which is approximately a 1 kilometer walk.

If you are near Umeda, head to the Umeda Bus Terminal. Take the Osaka City Bus number 62, which goes directly to Osaka Castle. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Osaka Castle Park stop, and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the main tower.

If you are in the Namba area, you can walk to Osaka Castle. Start at Dotonbori, walk north through the streets, and follow the signs to Osaka Castle.
