Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Takatsuki Station (approximately 15 minutes). At Takatsuki Station, transfer to the Keihan Main Line and board a train towards Hirakata Station. The journey from Takatsuki to Hirakata takes about 10 minutes. Upon arrival at Hirakata Station, exit the station and head towards the south exit. From there, you can either take a bus or walk to Hirakata Park, which is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the station.

From Kyoto Station, you can also take a bus to Hirakata. Look for the Hankyu Bus bound for Hirakata. The journey will take around 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Hirakata Park bus stop, which is right outside the park entrance.

Combination of Train and Bus
Take the Keihan Main Line from Kyobashi Station in central Kyoto to Hirakata Station. Once you arrive at Hirakata Station, take the local bus (Hirakata Park Line) directly to Hirakata Park. The bus ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
