Public Transport - Bus
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, make your way to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for Bus #204 or #205, which goes towards the north. Get off at 'Imamiya Jinja-mae' bus stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes north on Murasakino Imamiyacho street, and you'll find Imamiya Shrine on your left.

From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line north to Kitaoji Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head to the bus stop nearby. Catch Bus #204 or #205 and get off at 'Imamiya Jinja-mae' stop. After disembarking, walk north on Murasakino Imamiyacho street for about 5 minutes, and you will see Imamiya Shrine on your left.
