Public Transport (Bus)
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus 101 or 205. Get off at the 'Kitano Tenmangu Mae' bus stop. The shrine is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. After getting off, head north on the main road, and you will see the entrance to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on your left.

Public Transport (Subway)
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to Demachiyanagi Station. Transfer to the Eizan Railway, and take the Eizan Main Line to Kitano-Hakubaicho Station. Exit the station and walk about 10 minutes west to reach Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Follow the signs directing you towards the shrine.
