Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (Subway) to Kitaoji Station. Once you arrive at Kitaoji Station, exit the station and head to the Bus Stop No. 1. Take the Kyoto City Bus No. 64 or No. 73 towards 'Hozu River' or 'Arashiyama'. Get off at the 'Kozan-ji' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes along the path that leads up the hill, and you will reach Kozan-ji Temple.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Kyoto. Simply tell the driver 'Kozan-ji' or provide the address: '8 Umegahata Toganoocho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto'. The taxi ride from the city center will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
