Getting There

Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus #100 or #206 towards Gion. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at 'Gion' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk south towards Shijo Avenue. Once you reach Shijo Avenue, turn right and continue walking until you reach Maruyama Park on your left.

Train and Walk
Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Shijo Station. Transfer to the Hankyu Line and take the train to Kawaramachi Station. From Kawaramachi Station, head east on Shijo Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Maruyama Park, which will be on your right.

Walking
If you are in the Gion area, simply walk towards Maruyama Park. From Gion Corner, walk south along Hanami-koji Street, turn left onto Shijo Avenue, then head east until you see the entrance to Maruyama Park on your right. It should take around 10 minutes.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi and tell the driver to take you to Maruyama Park. The driver will likely know the location as it is a popular destination. The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic.
