Getting There

Public Bus
From Kyoto Station, take Bus 100 or Bus 206. Both buses head towards Gion and stop near Maruyama Park. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Gion'. From there, walk about 10 minutes along Shijo Avenue towards the east. You will pass by the famous Yasaka Shrine on your left. Continue straight, and you will find the entrance to Maruyama Park on your right.

Subway and Walk
Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Shijo Station. Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line at Shijo and ride one stop to Kawaramachi Station. Once you exit the station, turn left and walk along the Kamo River. Cross the river at the Shijo Bridge, then head south on Shijo Avenue for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Maruyama Park, which will be on your left.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kyoto. Simply tell the driver 'Maruyama Park' or show them the address: 'Maruyamacho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
