If you are in central Kyoto, start by taking the Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station. Look for the number 204 or 100 bus, which will take you towards the Iwakura area. You can board the bus from the bus terminal located just outside the station. Pay attention to the bus stops and get off at 'Iwakura Hataedacho' bus stop. From there, Myōman-ji Temple is about a 10-minute walk. Head north on Hataedacho Street, and then turn left onto Iwakura Street. The temple entrance will be on your right.
