Getting There

• Bus

  If you are at Kyoto Station, take Bus No. 205 or 17 from the bus terminal located just outside the station. It will take you approximately 15 minutes to reach the 'Karasuma Matsubara' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk south along Matsubara Street for about 5 minutes. Ohnishi Tsune Shoten will be on your left at 23 Hontorocho.

• Subway

  From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Disembark at Shijo Station (3 stops, about 5 minutes). Take exit 2 and walk east along Shijo Street for about 7 minutes. Turn left onto Karasuma Street, and then take the first right onto Matsubara Street. Ohnishi Tsune Shoten will be on your right at 23 Hontorocho.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in central Kyoto. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Ohnishi Tsune Shoten', located at 23 Hontorocho, Shimogyo Ward. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the Gion area, Ohnishi Tsune Shoten is about a 20-minute walk away. Start from Gion Shijo Station, head west towards Shijo Street, then turn left onto Shijo. Walk straight until you reach Karasuma Street, then turn right and continue until you reach Matsubara Street. Turn left, and the shop will be on your left at 23 Hontorocho.
