Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line towards Hamaotsu. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Board the Kyoto City Bus #28 or #11 heading towards 'Kiyotaki' or 'Hozu-gawa'. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at 'Rokuo-in' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes to Rokuo-in, which is located at 24 Sagakitaboricho, Ukyo Ward.

If you are staying in the Arashiyama area, you can walk to Rokuo-in. From the center of Arashiyama, head north on the main road towards the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Sagakitaboricho. Rokuo-in will be on your left at 24 Sagakitaboricho, Ukyo Ward.
