Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 26 or 91 towards 'Kiyotaki'. Get off at 'Rokuoin-mae' bus stop, which is approximately a 35-minute ride. Once you get off the bus, walk for about 5 minutes towards Sagakitaboricho. Rokuo-in will be on your left at 24 Sagakitaboricho.
Train and Bus
From Kyoto Station, board the JR San-In Line towards 'Kameoka'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Hankyu Arashiyama Station'. From there, switch to the Kyoto City Bus number 93 or 92 and travel towards 'Kiyotaki'. Get off at 'Rokuoin-mae' bus stop. Walk about 5 minutes to reach Rokuo-in at 24 Sagakitaboricho.
Walking
If you are near the Arashiyama area, you can walk to Rokuo-in. From the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head northwest on Saga Toriimiya Shrine Road. Continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection at Sagakitaboricho, then turn left. Rokuo-in will be on your right at 24 Sagakitaboricho.
