If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Naoshima Island, you will need to drive to the Naoshima ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Uno Port on the mainland. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Uno Port, follow the signs to Route 30, heading north towards Kasaoka. Continue on Route 30 for about 40 kilometers (approximately 50 minutes) until you reach Kasaoka City. From Kasaoka City, head towards Takashima Island, which is part of the Kasaoka Islands. You may need to take a local ferry from Kasaoka Port to Takashima, which will take about 15 minutes.
