If you are traveling by car, from the center of Nara, take Route 369 heading northwest toward Ikenocho. Follow the signs for Nara Park (Nara Koen) as you approach. Once you reach the area near the Nara Park, continue straight on Route 369. The NARA Visitor Center & Inn is located at 3 Ikenocho, Nara, 630-8361, on your right. There is parking available at the facility for a small fee of approximately 500 yen per hour.

To reach the NARA Visitor Center & Inn using public transportation, start from Nara Station. Take the Nara City Loop bus (green line) and get off at the 'Nara Park' stop.
