From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Asuka Station (approximately 30 minutes). Exit the station and head towards the bus stop located to the right of the station. Take the Asuka Bus (bound for Ishibutai Tumulus) and get off at the Ishibutai Tumulus stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. The tumulus is a short walk from the bus stop.

From Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kashihara Jingu-mae Station. Transfer to the Kintetsu Osaka Line towards Kashihara and get off at Asuka Station. From Asuka Station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Ishibutai Tumulus. Exit the station and head southwest towards the main road, then follow the signage towards Ishibutai Tumulus.
