Car
From Kumano Kodo, take Route 42 heading north towards the city of Asuka. After approximately 35 kilometers, turn left onto Route 169. Continue on Route 169 for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Asuka Mizuochi Ruins. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the parking area near the ruins. There may be a small parking fee, typically around 500 yen.

From Kumano Kodo, take a train from Kii Katsuura Station to Nara Station. This journey may require a transfer at Tennoji Station.
