    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Uji. You will need to transfer at Yamato-Saidaiji Station to the Kintetsu Kyoto Line. Walk along the river for about 10 minutes until you reach Uji Shrine, which is located in Yamada, Uji.

    From Nara Park, walk to the Nara City Hall bus stop. Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Uji. This will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Uji, disembark at the Uji Jinja-mae bus stop. The Uji Shrine is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading you to the shrine.
