Public Transportation
If you're in central Nikko, head to the Tobu Nikko Station or the JR Nikko Station. From there, take a bus towards the 'Rinnoji Temple' stop. The bus fare is approximately 200-300 yen. Once you get off at the 'Rinnoji Temple' bus stop, walk towards the Rin’nōji Houmotsuden treasure house, which is located just opposite the main hall of the Rinnoji Temple. The walk should take about 5 minutes.

If traveling by car, navigate to 2300 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1431. There is parking available near the Rin’nōji Houmotsuden treasure house. Upon arrival, you will find signage directing you to the treasure house, located directly opposite the main hall of the Rinnoji Temple. Be mindful of any parking fees that may apply, as they can vary.

If you're already near the Rinnoji Temple, simply walk in the direction of the main hall. The Rin’nōji Houmotsuden treasure house is clearly marked and only a short walk away. Follow the pathways that lead towards the temple, and you will see the entrance to the treasure house as you approach the main hall.
