    If you are in Naha, head to the nearest bus stop and look for bus numbers 5, 14, or 99. These buses will take you to Shuri Castle. Get off at the Shuri Castle bus stop. From there, Kankaimon is just a short walk away. Head east on Shuri Noborii Street, and you will find Kankaimon at 3 Chome Shuritonokuracho, Naha, Okinawa 903-0812. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

  • Monorail

    Take the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) to Shuri Station. Once you arrive at Shuri Station, exit the station and walk downhill towards Shuri Castle. As you make your way down, follow the signs leading to Kankaimon. The distance is about 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the local signage to ensure you are on the right track.

    If you are already in the vicinity of Shuri Castle, you can simply walk to Kankaimon. Starting from the main entrance of Shuri Castle, walk down the stairs and head towards Shuri Noborii Street. Turn left on Shuri Noborii Street and continue walking until you reach Kankaimon at 3 Chome Shuritonokuracho, Naha, Okinawa 903-0812. The walk should take about 10 minutes.
