From Osaka Station, take the JR Tokaido Line (also known as the JR Kobe Line) towards Kobe. You will need to get off at Sannomiya Station. The trains run frequently, so you won't have to wait long. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kobe Line. You will take the train heading towards Arima Onsen. Get off at the next stop, which is Kobe-Sannomiya Station.

At Kobe-Sannomiya Station, transfer to the Kobe Municipal Subway. Take the subway on the Seishin-Yamate Line towards Seishin Chuo. Get off at the last stop, which is Seishin Chuo Station.

From Seishin Chuo Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take the number 92 bus, which goes directly to the Kobe Municipal Arboretum. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes.
