Getting There

  • By Car

    From Sagami, head towards Route 246 and continue straight. When you reach the intersection with Route 139, turn left onto Route 139. Follow this road for about 30 km until you reach Oshino. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Oshino Hakkai as you approach the area. There is parking available near the site, but note that there may be a fee of around 500 yen for parking.

    Start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Sagami Station to Otsuki Station (approximately 20 minutes). At Otsuki Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Fujiyoshida Station (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Fujiyoshida Station, exit and look for the bus stop for the Fujikyu Bus heading to Oshino Hakkai. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, and the fare is approximately 400 yen. After getting off the bus, follow the signs for Oshino Hakkai, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
