    From Nakano Station, a major transport hub served by JR Chuo and Sobu Lines, and the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, take the Toei Bus (Shinjuku 98) towards Nakano. Get off at the Egota 4-chome bus stop. From there, walk for about 5 minutes towards the Nakano History and Folklore Museum, located at 4 Chome-3-4 Egota. The one-way bus fare is ¥210.

    From Numabukuro Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, walk north along Shin-Ome Kaido for about 10 minutes. The museum will be on your left, at 4 Chome-3-4 Egota. The walk is straightforward and takes you through a local neighborhood.
