Experience Sankeien Main Gate

Getting There

  • Train

    To reach Sankeien Main Gate from Tokyo, start by heading to Tokyo Station. From there, take the JR Tokaido Line towards Odawara. After about 30 minutes, get off at Yokohama Station. At Yokohama Station, transfer to the Yokohama City Subway (Blue Line) and take the train towards Shonandai. Alight at the 'Yamate' station. From Yamate Station, exit the station and head southwest on Yamate-dori Avenue for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance of Sankeien Park. The Main Gate is located within the park.

  • Bus

    From Shibuya Station, take the Keikyu Bus (Line 100) towards 'Honmoku' for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Sankeien' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance towards the entrance of Sankeien Park. Follow signs to the Main Gate, which is located just a few minutes walk from the bus stop.

  • Combination of Train and Walking

    Begin your journey at Shinjuku Station. Take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. Once at Tokyo Station, switch to the JR Tokaido Line and head towards Yokohama. After about 30 minutes, disembark at Yokohama Station. From there, you can choose to walk to Sankeien Main Gate, which is roughly a 50-minute walk, or take the bus as described previously.
