Getting There

  • Walking

    From Shibuya Station, take the Hachiko Exit. Once outside, head straight towards the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Cross the street and walk towards the large Starbucks on the corner. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street, which will lead you to the intersection of Meiji Dori. You will see a large Don Quijote store on your left. Turn left at the intersection and walk down Meiji Dori for about 10 minutes.

    As you approach the Harajuku area, look for the entrance to Takeshita Street on your right. It is marked by a colorful archway. The street is pedestrian-only, so you can freely explore the various shops and cafes once you enter.

  • Train

    If you're further away, consider taking the JR Yamanote Line from any station in Shibuya. Board the train heading towards Shinjuku or Ikebukuro and get off at Harajuku Station. The fare is around 140 yen. Once you exit the station, turn left and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Takeshita Street.
