Getting There

  • Car

    Start your journey from Yufuin by heading south on Route 210. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 57. Turn right onto Route 57, which will lead you towards Aso. After approximately 20 kilometers on Route 57, you will see signs for Aso Skyline. Follow the signs for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Aso Skyline Observatory. Note that parking is available on-site.

    From Yufuin Station, take a train on the JR Kyushu line towards Kumamoto. Get off at Aso Station (approximately 1 hour).
