From the center of Higo, head northwest on Route 57 towards Aso. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 30 kilometers until you see the signs for Daikanbo. Turn right onto Prefectural Road 11 and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. You'll see signs directing you to Daikanbo. There is a parking area available on site, but it may incur a parking fee of around 500 yen.

Start by taking a train from Higo to Aso Station. The ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aso Station, you can catch a local bus that goes directly to Daikanbo. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes, and the bus fare is approximately 500 yen. Buses may be limited, so check the schedule in advance.

If you prefer a more direct route after arriving in Aso, you can take a taxi from Aso Station to Daikanbo. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes and will cost approximately 3,000 yen. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before your journey.
