Getting there

Walking

From the center of Salt, head south on Al-Husseini Street towards the Al-Mahatta Roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al-Nasr Street. Continue straight until you reach the main bus station. Here, look for a local bus or minibus heading towards Madaba. Board the bus and inform the driver that you are going to Mount Nebo. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mount Nebo entrance, walk towards the ticketing area and follow the signs to the viewpoint.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can find a taxi near the city center. Simply approach a taxi driver and tell them you want to go to Mount Nebo. The fare should be negotiated before you start the ride, and it will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of Mount Nebo.

Bicycle Rental

For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle. Start from the center of Salt and ride south towards Al-Husseini Street. Follow the same route as the walking directions, but on a bicycle. You can ride along Al-Nasr Street to reach the main road to Madaba. Once you get close to the Mount Nebo area, there are bike-friendly paths.
