Starting from the Visitor Center in Petra, head towards the Siq, the narrow gorge that leads into the archaeological site. Once you enter the Siq, follow it until you reach the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). After admiring the Treasury, continue walking straight ahead and follow the main path leading towards the Street of Facades. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the High Place of Sacrifice. You will come to a junction where you can see the Royal Tombs on your left. Take the path that leads up to the right, which will take you towards the High Place of Sacrifice. The trail is well-marked with signs indicating the direction to the High Place. Follow this path as it ascends gradually, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. After approximately 20-30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the High Place of Sacrifice, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Petra.
