Walking
From the main entrance of Petra Archaeological Park, walk straight along the main path for about 1.2 kilometers. You will pass by the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads to The Treasury. Keep an eye out for the towering rock walls surrounding you. Once you reach the end of the Siq, you will see The Treasury emerge dramatically at the end of the pathway. This walk typically takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace and stops for photos.

Horse Ride
If you prefer a quicker option, consider taking a horse ride from the visitor center. You can hire a horse at the entrance for approximately 20 Jordanian Dinars for a round trip. The horse will take you through the main path leading to the Siq. Note that this ride will take you only to the entrance of the Siq, and you will still need to walk through the Siq to reach The Treasury.

For a more informative experience, you can hire a local guide at the entrance of Petra. The cost usually ranges from 30 to 50 Jordanian Dinars, depending on the duration and extent of the tour.
