If you are driving, head towards Petra from your location in Wadi Araba. Take the Desert Highway (Route 15) heading north. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Petra/ Wadi Musa. Follow the signs to Petra, which will lead you to the entrance of the archaeological site. Once at Petra's entrance, you will need to park your vehicle in the designated parking area. The parking fee is around 5 JOD for the day. From the parking area, walk to the Visitor Center and purchase your entrance ticket to Petra (around 50 JOD for a single day). After entering, follow the main trail towards the Siq, which leads to the Treasury. From the Treasury, follow the signs towards the High Place of Sacrifice, which is about a 30-40 minute hike uphill.
