If you are driving, start from the center of Cherokee Lowlands. Head west on Main Street and continue onto KS-96 W. Follow KS-96 W for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with US-81 N. Merge onto US-81 N and continue for about 12 miles. Take the exit toward Mulberry and follow the signs to Mulberry, KS. Once in Mulberry, follow local roads to reach Smoky Hills located at approximately 38.7917° N, -97.9975° W. There is no parking fee at the site.
