    From Kolsai Lakes National Park, head back to the main road and take the A351 highway towards Almaty. Continue on this road for about 60 km until you reach the outskirts of Almaty. Look for signs indicating the route to Big Almaty Lake, which will lead you to the A2 road. Follow the A2 road for approximately 15 km until you reach the entrance to Big Almaty Lake. There is an entrance fee of about 500 KZT per person, and parking is available near the lake.

    To reach Big Almaty Lake from Kolsai Lakes National Park using public transportation, you will first need to travel to the nearest major town, which is Saty. Take a shared taxi or bus from Saty to Almaty (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). Once in Almaty, you can take a taxi or a local bus (number 28 or 12) to the Big Almaty Lake entrance. The taxi from Almaty city center to Big Almaty Lake will cost around 3000-4000 KZT. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
