There is no parking fee, but ensure you park safely off the road.

  Public transportation options in the Knobs Region are limited. However, you can take a local bus to the nearest town, Richmond, KY.   If you are staying nearby and wish to walk, ensure you are prepared for the distance. Starting from downtown Paint Lick, the walk is approximately 5 miles and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the main roads until you reach Walker Pike. Be cautious of traffic, as some parts of the road may not have sidewalks.
