Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail. Head towards East Bernstadt, KY. Follow the trail signs until you reach I-75. Merge onto I-75 South and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 41 for KY-90 towards East Bernstadt. Turn left onto KY-90 East and follow the signs for Woods Creek Lake Dam. After approximately 2 miles, you will arrive at Woods Creek Lake Dam, located just off the road. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check the local bus services in the area. Take a bus that travels towards London, KY, and request a stop at East Bernstadt. From the bus stop, you can either walk (approximately 2 miles) or arrange a taxi service to the Woods Creek Lake Dam. Be sure to have some cash handy for the taxi fare.

• Bicycle

  For those who are adventurous and prefer cycling, you can begin your journey on the Sheltowee Trace Trail towards East Bernstadt. Once you reach the town, follow the previous car instructions to navigate to I-75 and KY-90. The bike ride will take you through scenic routes, but be prepared for some uphill sections. Ensure you have a bicycle lock for when you arrive at Woods Creek Lake Dam.
