Car
If you are traveling by car, head out from Lake Naivasha along the Moi South Lake Road. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Nakuru-Naivasha Road (A104). Turn left onto this highway and drive for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the sign for Longonot National Park, which will direct you to the right. After about 5 kilometers on this road, you'll arrive at the entrance to Longonot National Park. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 500 KES for residents and 1,000 KES for non-residents. Park your car at the designated area.

Public Transportation
To reach Longonot Volcano by public transport, start at the main bus station in Lake Naivasha. Board a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Nakuru. Inform the driver you are going to Longonot, and they will drop you off at the junction of the Nakuru-Naivasha Road (A104). From there, you might need to wait for a few minutes for another matatu that goes to Longonot National Park. The fare should be around 100 KES for the initial leg and about 50 KES for the final leg to the park entrance. Be prepared for a bit of walking from the matatu drop-off to the park entrance.
