If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Suna. Head west on the Migori - Muhuru Rd. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Lake Victoria Sanctuary along the way. Once you reach the coordinates 34HP+RR9, the sanctuary will be on your left side. Make sure to check the condition of the road and be cautious of any wildlife crossing.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
To reach Lake Victoria Sanctuary using public transportation, head to the nearest matatu (shared taxi) station in Suna. Look for matatus heading towards Muhuru Bay. Once aboard, inform the driver that you are going to Lake Victoria Sanctuary. The fare should be around 100-200 KES. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the sanctuary. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the sanctuary entrance.
