Once in Vang Vieng, follow the signs to the Blue Lagoon 1, which is about 7 km from the town center. You can park your car near the entrance, but be aware that there is an entrance fee of around 10,000 LAK per person.

  • Public Transportation (Minivan)

    Head to the Northern Bus Station in Vientiane to catch a minivan to Vang Vieng. The journey takes about 4 hours and costs approximately 60,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Vang Vieng, you can rent a bike or take a tuk-tuk to Blue Lagoon 1, which is about 7 km away. Expect to pay around 20,000 LAK for the tuk-tuk ride.

  • Car

    After visiting Blue Lagoon 1, continue your trip by car to Phu Kham Cave. From Blue Lagoon 1, return to Vang Vieng town and take Route 13 south. The cave is approximately 11 km from Vang Vieng. Look for signs leading to Phu Kham Cave, and you should find parking nearby. There may be an additional entrance fee of about 10,000 LAK.
