    If you are near the Riga Central Market, head to the nearby tram stop called 'Tirgus'. Take tram number 3 or 6 towards 'Pārdaugava'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Kronvalda parks'. From there, walk straight along the park towards the river, then turn left onto Palasta iela. The Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation will be on your right at number 4.

    If you are starting from the Old Town (Vecrīga), head towards the main square (Livu Square) and exit towards the river. Walk along the riverbank towards the Academy of Sciences building.
