Car
From Baabda, head southwest on the main road towards the Chouf region. Follow signs for 'Ain Zhalta' or use a GPS service. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will reach Ain Zhalta. Once in Ain Zhalta, look for the signs directing you to the Shouf Cedars nature preserve. The road will lead you through scenic views. There may be a small parking fee of around 5,000-10,000 LBP upon arrival.
Public Transportation
To reach Shouf Cedars via public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Baabda. Look for buses headed to 'Deir el Qamar' or 'Ain Zhalta'. The bus ride may take about 1 hour. Make sure to inform the driver you are heading to Ain Zhalta for the Shouf Cedars. Once you arrive in Ain Zhalta, you can either walk or take a taxi to the nature preserve, which is approximately 10 minutes away. Expect to pay around 5,000 LBP for the bus fare and 10,000 LBP for a taxi if you choose to take one.
