Start at the center of Mafeteng, near the Mafeteng Bus Station. From there, head south on Lits'itso Road until you reach the intersection with the A2 highway. At this point, continue straight onto the A2, which is a major road leading towards Malealea. Follow the A2 for approximately 20 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Once you reach the junction for Malealea, turn left onto the road that leads to Malealea Lodge. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers, where you will see signs indicating the direction to Gates of Paradise Pass. Follow these signs until you arrive at the pass.

Rent a bicycle in Mafeteng and start from the town center. Head south on Lits'itso Road until you reach the A2 highway.
