Look for signage indicating New Orleans City Park. There is parking available within the park, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

For those using public transportation, you can take the RTA bus line 91 from various stops in Lake Pontchartrain. Make sure to check the RTA schedule for the nearest bus stop to your location. The bus will take you along Esplanade Avenue, and you can disembark at the City Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. A single bus fare is approximately $1.25, and you can purchase a day pass for unlimited rides for $3.00.
