Train
From Dudelange, walk to the Dudelange station, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the city center. Once at the station, take a train towards Metz. The train ride will typically take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Metz station, exit the station and follow the signs to the city center. Place St Louis is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Head southwest on Rue de la Gare, then turn left onto Rue de la Republic, and continue straight until you reach Place St Louis.
Bus
From Dudelange, you can take the bus line 1 or 3 from the central bus station (Gare routière). The bus will take you directly to Metz. The journey should take around 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. After arriving at the bus stop in Metz, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Place St Louis is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Walk straight down Avenue Foch, then turn right onto Rue de la Republic, and continue until you reach Place St Louis.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore, you can walk from Dudelange to Metz, which is about 12 km away. Start at the center of Dudelange and head towards the border with France, following the signs to Metz. The walk will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to follow the pedestrian paths and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive in Metz, head towards the city center and walk to Place St Louis.
